Apoyo de REDES Mérida a Florencio Porras
Camaradas,
como es sabido, la designación a dedo de los candidatos a las gobernaciones por parte del buro nacional del PSUV ha causado un gran malestar entre muchas de las fuerzas políticas y movimientos de base, que apoyan categóricamente a la Revolución Bolivariana y dieron una vez más su voto y confianza al Presidente Chávez el 7-O. Tanto más es el malestar, cuando consideramos que a raíz de las declaraciones del Presidente Chávez después de su reelección, se generaron expectativas de una mayor participación, consulta e irrestricto respeto a las decisiones del poder popular.
Al conocerse la designación de Alexis Ramírez como candidato a la gobernación de Mérida sin tomar en cuenta a la propuesta de las fuerzas políticas y sus bases que apoyan la revolución, se produce la postulación de Florencio Porras por considerar que el candidato impuesto no posee el perfil necesario para poder conquistar la gobernación de Mérida en este momento crucial.
A las fuerzas políticas y populares que apoyan la candidatura de Florencio Porras se les acusa de ser divisionistas. La pregunta es: Quién promueve y practica la división? Los que imponen candidaturas inconsultas desde arriba, o los que apoyan candidatos respaldados desde abajo?
En REDES, a la alineación forzada le contraponemos el principio del respeto a las decisiones autónomas regionales. En este sentido felicitamos a los camaradas Juan Barreto y Fabiola González, coordinadores de REDES en Caracas y Mérida respectivamente, quienes en efecto, supieron hacer valer este nuestro principio fundamental, aún cuando tal vez hayan sido sometidos a presiones e intereses externas. Vaya nuestro reconocimiento a su gran valentía!
